How do I instruct my Chinese supplier to send goods to your warehouse?

Once you confirm your booking with FR Logistics, we provide a warehouse delivery instruction sheet with the full address of the relevant warehouse (Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Yiwu, Shanghai, or Ningbo), the contact name and phone number for our warehouse team, and a reference number specific to your shipment. Forward this instruction sheet directly to each of your suppliers — they deliver the goods to our warehouse and we confirm receipt with a photo report within 1–2 business days. Your supplier does not need to have a prior relationship with FR Logistics; they simply deliver as instructed.

If inspection reveals a quantity shortage, quality defect, labeling error, or packaging problem, FR Logistics immediately notifies you with a detailed photo report documenting the issue. You then decide how to proceed — options include returning the goods to the supplier for replacement or repair, requesting a commercial compensation from the supplier before the shipment moves, repacking or relabeling if the issue is minor and correctable at the warehouse, or proceeding with the shipment and resolving the issue commercially with the supplier separately. FR Logistics does not make this decision for you — the report gives you the information and the leverage to handle it on your own terms while the goods are still in China.

FR Logistics takes reasonable precautions to secure goods in our warehouses, including access controls and standard facility protection. However, warehouse storage is not automatically covered by cargo insurance — we strongly recommend importers arrange their own marine cargo insurance policy that covers the storage period in addition to the transit leg. If you need assistance arranging cargo insurance for your China-Bangladesh shipment including the storage period, ask us when booking and we can advise on options. Always confirm the coverage period with your insurer — many standard marine policies begin coverage only from the point of loading, not from warehouse arrival.
